Awaken tribe was formed after wormhole to New Eden collapsed. When Minmatar Republic was slaved by Amarr Empire, Awaken tribe vanished. They found a wormhole to uncharted space and the whole tribe left their homeland to escape Amarr Slave hounds. Amarr never couldn't find them.

While living in uncharted space they found out that they weren't alone - there was lot's of other refugees from other races too, in matter of fact all of the races. These refugees from Amarr, Caldari and Gallente were taken into Awaken tribe since they will help and will not leave anyone behind.

However after wormholes were discovered again, Awaken tribe finally got a word that Minmatar Republic is free and they decided to start journey back to their homeland.

Awaken tribe represents the whole New Eden and Minmatar Republic ideologies and is focused on protecting the freedom and everyone who is living with them.
